This popular event combines exceptional wine tasting with boutique shopping, local culinary offerings, and the vibrant spirit of Truckee.
Guests can enjoy tastings from regional wineries, bite-sized food pairings, exclusive shopping opportunities, and a commemorative tasting glass while exploring one of California’s most scenic mountain towns.
WINE ON THE WILD SIDE
Join us Friday, October 9th from 5 – 8:30 PM for a wildly unforgettable evening at Wine on the Wild Side!
Experience the perfect pairing of exceptional wines and the natural beauty of the Sacramento Zoo. Sip your way through a curated selection of world-class wines from local wineries as you stroll the Zoo and enjoy live music from 2 Humans!
A variety of delicious food and additional beverages will be available for purchase throughout the evening, making it easy to savor every moment.

Upon arrival, you’ll receive your own custom blindfold to wear, and keep, as you explore wines without sight, allowing your palate, nose, and intuition to guide you.
In the absence of visual cues, aromas intensify, textures reveal themselves, and flavors emerge with new depth. Each pour becomes a story, every swirl a revelation, and every taste a memory in the making.
